Bypass Imageshack dummy image

Image Shack is one of the most popular image hosting service on the internet. This image hosting service had been around for years and it is used by thousands of people worldwide. But somehow, a few months back, some website which host their image through ImageShack had lost their image. They would see a dummy image of ImageShack instead of their actual images. So for today, I will show you how to bypass the dummy image and see the real image.

First of all, navigate to RefControl official addon page and install the addon. RefControl is an addon that will control what gets sent as the HTTP Referer on a per-site basis. After the installation, restart your browser.

Next, navigate to Tools > RefControl options...

Now the RefControl options box will popup on your screen. Next click on the "Add site" button to add a new site.

Now the RefControl Site Properties box will appear on your screen. Fill the form exactly like he images below.

When you are done, hit the "OK" button and the another "OK" button. That is all the procedure. So whenever you browse through websites around the internet, you will not see the annoying dummy image ever again.

Note: This trick on works with Mozilla Firefox.
